Probably the most important question is, 'how much can you afford and how much do you want to spend?'
Then the obvious question is... Is what you are looking for in your price range, is it currently available, or has it ever been available?
The pie in the sky dream of a single in the country, on a couple of acres, in move in condition, just does not exist in our market area. It never has and it most likely never will.
Never forget the age old saying, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
Things like the amount of money needed (for down payment and closing costs), financing options (conventional, FHA, or something else), what lender to use (local, national), and do you have a home to sell (and what is it worth), are the all so very important questions.
These are the tough questions that need to be asked, considered, and ultimately answered, before you can really begin the home buyer process.
